In order to keep your silk bedding feeling at its best it is vital to use a washing agent that is suitable for washing silk. Tenestar is a specialist silk washing agent for pure silk, blended silk fabric and viscose - to keep the beauty and comfort of the silk alive.

Supplied in bottles of 240ml (250g) Tenestar was recommended to us by a silk handloom weaver and, frankly, is the best silk washing agent that we have found.

Tenestar is formulated to complement the silk fibre. Colours will stay shiningly bright and the silk will stay soft and flexible. Tenestar cleans gently, thoroughly, and economically. It is based on natural resources and is therefore especially skin-friendly. Even individuals prone to allergies appreciate it.

Tenestar is suitable for hand and machine washing.

Never use shampoo to wash pure silk, even if recommended. Shampoos contain fatty substances which destroy the shine of the precious silk fabric.
